Ingredients
  

Potatoes

  • 4 large large russet potatoes Peeled and cut into strips

Seasoning and Coating

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For coating the fries
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Adds flavor
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese For topping
  • 1 teaspoon salt To taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper To taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley Optional garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Peel the russet potatoes and cut them into thin strips.
  • Submerge the cut potatoes in cold water for about 30 minutes to remove excess starch, then drain and pat dry.

Coating

  • In a large bowl, mix the potatoes with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until well coated.

Cooking

  • Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and let it preheat for about 5 minutes.
  • Place the coated potato strips in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
  • When the fries are golden and crisp, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and give them a good toss.

Garnishing

  • Optionally, sprinkle chopped fresh parsley before serving, and enjoy!

Notes
