Preparation

  • Step 1: Activate the Yeast - Combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast in a bowl. Let sit for about 5 minutes until foamy.
  • Step 2: Combine Ingredients - In a large bowl, mix flour, eggs, melted butter, and the activated yeast mixture until a shaggy dough forms.
  • Step 3: Knead the Dough - Transfer dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • Step 4: Let it Rise - Place dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise in a warm area for about 1 hour until doubled in size.
  • Step 5: Roll and Fill - Roll out dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick. Spread melted butter, sprinkle generously with cinnamon and sugar, then roll tightly.
  • Step 6: Cut and Arrange - Cut rolled dough into 12 equal pieces and place in a greased baking dish, leaving space between each roll.
  • Step 7: Second Rise - Cover and let rolls rise for an additional 30 minutes.
  • Step 8: Bake - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

Notes
