Ingredients
  

For the Hash Brown Crust

  • 4 cups frozen shredded hash browns, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

For the Toppings

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled breakfast sausage or bacon (optional; use plant-based for vegetarian)
  • 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • In a bowl, mix the thawed hash browns with melted butter, salt, and pepper. Press into a greased pizza pan to form a crust.

Baking the Crust

  • Bake the hash brown crust for 20 minutes until crispy and golden.

Preparing the Toppings

  • In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, paprika, and a bit of salt and pepper.
  • Sprinkle the cheese, sausage or bacon, bell pepper, and green onions on the baked hash brown crust.
  • Pour the egg mixture evenly over the toppings.

Final Baking

  • Return to the oven and bake for another 10-15 minutes, until the eggs are set.
  • Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

For flavor enhancement, add herbs like basil or parsley on top before serving. Customize your pizza with ingredients like spinach or mushrooms for extra nutrition. Serve with a side of sour cream or hot sauce for added depth of flavor.
