Ingredients
  

For the pasta

  • 8 ounces pasta (fettuccine or penne)

For the chicken

  • 2 pieces chicken breasts Fresh chicken recommended
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For cooking the chicken
  • Salt Salt to taste
  • Pepper Pepper to taste

For the sauce

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 piece onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

For serving

  • Parmesan cheese For serving
  • Fresh parsley For garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  • Season chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and slice.
  • In the same skillet, add onions and garlic, sautéing until soft.
  • Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  • Add cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the skillet, tossing to coat.
  • Season with salt and pepper. Serve with Parmesan cheese and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

Customize spice levels by increasing Cajun seasoning or adding hot sauce. Serve with a side salad or garlic bread for a complete meal. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
