Preparation

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and green bell pepper, cooking for about 5 minutes until softened.
  • Add the ground chicken to the skillet, breaking it apart. Cook for about 7-10 minutes until fully browned.
  • Mix in minced garlic and Cajun seasoning, stirring for another minute.
  • Add chicken broth, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir well and bring to a simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  • Reduce heat, stir in heavy cream, and simmer for an additional 3-5 minutes.
  • Ladle the mixture onto toasted hamburger buns, top with shredded cheese, and let it melt slightly.
  • Serve immediately while warm.

Notes
