Ingredients
  

For the Steak

  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak tips
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

For the Pasta and Sauce

  • 12 oz penne pasta
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning (to tie the flavor together)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cook the penne pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium-high heat.
  • Add the steak tips and season with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Sear until browned.
  • Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and whole milk, stirring to combine.
  • Add the cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, and mozzarella cheese. Stir until the cheese melts and the sauce is creamy.
  • Return the steak to the skillet and add the cooked penne pasta. Toss everything together until well coated.
  • Sprinkle a final touch of Cajun seasoning and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

Enhance flavor by adding chopped scallions or bell peppers. Customize by swapping steak tips with shrimp or chicken for a different protein option.
