Ingredients

Tortilla Bombs

  • 8 pieces flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup crab meat
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (like cheddar or Monterey Jack)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, mix together the shrimp, crab meat, shredded cheese, heavy cream, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Take a tortilla and place a generous spoonful of the seafood mixture in the center. Fold the sides in and roll it up tightly to form a bomb. Repeat with the remaining tortillas.

Cooking

  • Place the filled tortilla bombs on the prepared baking sheet, seam side down. Bake in the oven for about 25 minutes until golden and crispy.
  • Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, and garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Enhance flavor by adding spices like paprika or cayenne pepper. Customize with other seafood options like scallops or lobster. Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
