Pasta and Chicken

  • 2 cups cooked pasta (such as penne or rotini) Cook pasta al dente; rinse after cooking to prevent mushiness.
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, diced Ensure chicken is fully cooked before adding.

Sauce and Seasoning

  • 2 cups Alfredo sauce Store-bought for convenience or homemade for richer flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.

Cheese

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Additional for topping.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Additional for topping.

Garnish

  • to taste chopped parsley For garnish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked pasta, diced chicken, Alfredo sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well until evenly coated.
  • Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish and spread it evenly.
  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan on top.

Baking

  • Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the top is golden brown.
  • Optionally, switch to broil settings for an additional 2-3 minutes for a crispy top.

Serving

  • Remove the dish from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes and sprinkle chopped parsley on top before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For freezing, wrap portions tightly and place in a freezer-safe container to last up to 3 months.
