Ingredients
  

Main Protein

  • 2 pieces Boneless, skinless chicken breasts Trim any excess fat and cut into even portions for uniform cooking.

Aromatics & Vegetables

  • 2 cups Trimmed green beans Trim the ends and rinse thoroughly.

Liquids/Dairy

  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil Using extra virgin olive oil will impart a deeper flavor.

Seasoning/Spice Blend

  • to taste Salt and pepper Ensure even coverage on both chicken and beans.

Optional Finishing Ingredients

  • 1 Lemon, cut into wedges Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the finished dish just before serving.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat a large skillet over medium heat and add 2 tablespoons of olive oil.

Cooking

  • Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F). Remove them from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the green beans and cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring regularly until they are bright green and slightly tender.
  • Add the minced garlic to the skillet with the green beans and sauté for an additional minute until fragrant.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet with the green beans and garlic, toss everything together and season with more salt and pepper to taste. Let it sauté together for 2-3 minutes.

Serving

  • Remove from heat and transfer the chicken and green beans onto serving plates. Garnish with fresh lemon wedges.

Notes

Enhance flavor with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese before serving. Customize with your favorite veggies, or serve with toasted bread to soak up juices.
