  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded chicken Cooked chicken, can be from a rotisserie.
  • 1 cup ditalini pasta Or any small pasta shape.
  • 4 cups chicken broth Homemade or store-bought.

Seasoning and Garnish

  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • for garnish Fresh parsley

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large pot, sauté the onions, carrots, celery, and garlic over medium heat until softened (about 5 minutes).

Cooking

  • Add the shredded chicken and chicken broth; bring to a boil (around 5-7 minutes).
  • Stir in the ditalini pasta and cook according to package instructions (approximately 8-10 minutes).
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For added flavor, you can add a splash of lemon juice. Customize the soup by swapping in your preferred vegetables or proteins.
