Ingredients
  

For the chicken

  • 2 pieces chicken breasts, finely diced
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil for marinating chicken
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce for marinating chicken
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp minced fresh ginger

For the slaw

  • 1 bag coleslaw mix
  • 4 pieces green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil for slaw
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce for slaw
  • 1 tbsp honey

For the tacos

  • 16 pieces wonton wrappers
  • Sweet chili sauce for serving
  • Chopped cilantro for garnish
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix the diced chicken with hoisin sauce, sesame oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, and ginger. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the coleslaw mix, green onions, sesame oil, rice vinegar, soy sauce, and honey. Mix well to create the slaw.

Cooking

  • Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Cook the marinated chicken for 5-7 minutes until fully cooked.
  • In a separate pan, fry the wonton wrappers until golden brown and crispy.

Assembly

  • Assemble the tacos by placing a spoonful of chicken in each wonton wrapper, topping with coleslaw, and drizzling with sweet chili sauce.
  • Garnish with chopped cilantro and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

Enhance flavor by adding a splash of lime juice to the slaw for brightness. Customize your filling with shrimp or tofu for different tastes.
