  • 4 pieces chicken breasts Boneless and skinless preferred
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter Soften before mixing
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Fresh is best for flavor
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped Can substitute with other fresh herbs
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped Can substitute with other fresh herbs
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Fresh lemon juice recommended
  • 1 teaspoon paprika For color and flavor
  • to taste none salt Adjust to preference
  • to taste none pepper Adjust to preference

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a bowl, mix the softened butter with minced garlic, parsley, chives, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Cooking

  • Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and generously spread the cowboy butter mixture over the top of each breast.
  • Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  • Serve hot, garnished with additional herbs if desired.

Notes

Add a sprinkle of grated Parmesan for extra flavor. Customize the herbs based on your preferences or what's in season. Serve with a fresh salad for a complete meal.
