  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • to serve Lemon wedges
  • 0.5 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Season the chicken pieces with salt and black pepper.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add the chicken and cook until golden brown, about 5-6 minutes.
  • Reduce the heat to medium and add the butter and garlic.
  • Allow the butter to melt and mix with the chicken.
  • Stir in the Dijon mustard, fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, red pepper flakes, and smoked paprika.
  • Cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is well combined.
  • Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the chopped parsley and thyme.

Serving

  • Serve the chicken bites immediately with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

Enhance flavor with extra garlic or herbs for a more aromatic profile. Customize spice levels by adjusting red pepper flakes or adding different herbs. Serve with a dipping sauce like ranch or blue cheese for added indulgence.
