  • 2 pieces boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 28 oz can crushed tomatoes
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups uncooked rotini pasta
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot.
  • Add the crushed tomatoes, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and salt and pepper.
  • Cook on low for 6 hours or until chicken is cooked through.
  • Remove the chicken and shred it with two forks.
  • Stir in the heavy cream and uncooked rotini pasta.
  • Cook on high for an additional 30 minutes, or until the pasta is tender.
  • Stir in the shredded Parmesan cheese just before serving.

Notes

Consider adding red pepper flakes for a spicy kick. Feel free to toss in your favorite vegetables, like spinach or zucchini. Top with fresh basil or a drizzle of olive oil for added depth.
