Ingredients
  

Main Protein

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts Trim any excess fat and cut them into even pieces.

Aromatics & Vegetables

  • 2 cups broccoli florets Fresh or frozen can be used; cut into bite-sized pieces.

Liquids/Dairy

  • 1 can cream of chicken soup Mix with milk in a bowl before adding to crockpot.
  • 1/2 cup milk Dairy-free alternatives can be used.

Seasoning/Spice Blend

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Sprinkle evenly over chicken.
  • salt and pepper To taste.

Optional Finishing Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Stir in during the last 15 minutes of cooking.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of your crockpot.
  • Layer the broccoli florets over the chicken.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup and milk until smooth. Pour this mixture over the chicken and broccoli.
  • Sprinkle garlic powder, salt, and pepper over the contents and stir gently.

Cooking

  • Cover the crockpot and set it to low. Cook for about 4 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  • During the last 15 minutes of cooking, add the shredded cheddar cheese and stir until melted.

Serving

  • Serve warm, either directly from the crockpot or plated in bowls.

Notes

For added flavor, toss in grated parmesan cheese before serving. Customize with additional veggies like carrots or peas. Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
