  • 1 box vanilla cake mix Prepare according to package instructions.
  • 3 cups water Used for cake and jello preparation.

Jello Ingredients

  • 1 package colorful jello (various flavors) Dissolve in boiling water.

Toppings

  • 1 cup whipped topping Can use store-bought or homemade.
  • sprinkles or colorful toppings (optional) Add before serving for freshness.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.

Mix and Bake

  • In a large bowl, mix the vanilla cake mix with the required water, eggs, and oil according to package instructions and beat until smooth for 2-3 minutes.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Create Poke Holes

  • Once the cake has cooled, poke holes all over the surface using the handle of a wooden spoon.

Prepare Jello

  • Dissolve the jello in boiling water and then mix in cold water. Allow to cool slightly.
  • Pour the jello evenly over the poked cake.

Chill

  • Cover the cake and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the jello to set.

Add Toppings

  • Spread whipped topping over the chilled cake and sprinkle with your desired toppings.

Notes

Enhance flavor with vanilla extract. Customize jello flavor as desired. Can serve with ice cream for an indulgent twist.
