  • 8 oz Dry Macaroni
  • 1 lb Lean Ground Beef
  • 1 cup Chopped White Onion
  • 2 cloves Minced Garlic
  • 2 cups Bell Peppers (Red, Green & Yellow)
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 8 oz Light Cream Cheese
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella
  • 4 slices Light Cheese Slices
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chili Flakes
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley (Optional for garnish)

Preparation

  • Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onions and garlic, sauté until fragrant.
  • Add the ground beef to the skillet, cooking until browned. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and chili flakes.
  • Stir in the chopped bell peppers and cook until soft.
  • Lower the heat and add the cream cheese, stirring until melted and combined.
  • Mix in the drained macaroni and shredded mozzarella. Stir well to coat all the pasta.
  • Add cheese slices on top, allowing them to melt into the dish.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Enhance flavor by adding a splash of Worcestershire sauce. Customize with your favorite veggies like mushrooms or spinach. Serve with a side of spicy pickles for an added crunch.
