Liquids/Dairy

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted Can substitute with olive oil or ghee.

Aromatics & Vegetables

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic is essential for flavor.

Seasoning/Spice Blend

  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce or tamari
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper Season to taste with salt.

Optional Finishing Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Grease a baking dish lightly with cooking spray or oil.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, honey, garlic, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, paprika, and black pepper.
  • Place the salmon fillets in the greased baking dish, skin side down.
  • Pour the honey garlic sauce evenly over the salmon fillets.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon turns opaque and flakes easily.
  • Remove from oven and garnish with fresh parsley.
  • Serve immediately with lemon wedges.

Notes
