Ingredients
  

Main Protein

  • 4 pieces thin chicken cutlets Pound to ensure even thickness.

Breading

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese For breading the chicken.

Cooking Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter

Sauce Ingredients

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Avoid browning to prevent bitterness.
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream Use full-fat for best texture.
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan for sauce

Seasoning

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Season the chicken cutlets with salt and pepper on both sides.

Breading the Chicken

  • Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with grated Parmesan.
  • Dip each cutlet in the flour, then the eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture.

Searing the Chicken

  • Heat olive oil and butter in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Sear the breaded chicken cutlets for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.

Bake the Chicken

  • Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 10 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through.

Making the Creamy Sauce

  • In the same skillet, reduce heat and add minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute.
  • Add chicken broth and scrape the bottom of the pan to deglaze.

Add Cream and Parmesan

  • Pour in heavy cream and add additional grated Parmesan, stirring until it thickens slightly.

Final Touches

  • Return chicken cutlets to the skillet, coating them with the creamy garlic sauce, and let it simmer for a minute.

Notes

Consider adding red pepper flakes for heat, mushrooms, or spinach for extra flavors. Serve with crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
