Seasoning/Spice Blend

  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix For a more intense flavor, let it sit for a few minutes after adding.

Liquids/Dairy

  • 1 cup chicken broth Stir the cream cheese into the broth before adding it to the pot.
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese Make sure the cream cheese is softened for easier mixing.

Optional Finishing Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Sprinkle in the last 15-20 minutes of cooking.
  • to taste salt and pepper Adjust to preference.

Preparation

  • Start by placing the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crock pot, laying flat.
  • Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix generously over the chicken.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the chicken broth with the cream cheese until smooth, then pour over the chicken.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste.

Cooking

  • Cover the crock pot and cook on low for about 4 hours.
  • In the last 15-20 minutes of cooking, add the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  • Once the cheese has melted, sprinkle chopped green onions on top before serving.

Notes

Customize with favorite veggies or spices. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
