Slow Cooker Garlic Butter Steak Bites

Ingredients
  

Main Protein

  • 3 pounds Sirloin Steak Cut into bite-sized pieces.

Seasoning/Spice Blend

  • 2 teaspoons Kosher Salt Enhances the steak's natural flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper Coat the meat evenly for the best flavor.

Liquids/Dairy

  • 1 cup Unsalted Beef Stock Infuses rich flavor and moisture.
  • 1 ounce Au Jus Gravy Mix Combine with beef stock.

Aromatics & Vegetables

  • 3 cloves Garlic Thinly sliced.
  • 1 small Sweet Onion Diced or sliced.

Optional Finishing Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter Thinly sliced to enhance the sauce.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Start by cutting your 3 pounds of sirloin steak into bite-sized pieces. Pat them dry with a paper towel.
  • Sprinkle 2 teaspoons of kosher salt and 1 teaspoon of black pepper evenly over the steak pieces.

Cooking

  • Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak and sear for about 3-4 minutes until browned.
  • Transfer the browned steak to a slow cooker. Add the diced sweet onion and sliced garlic on top.
  • In a separate bowl, mix 1 cup unsalted beef stock with the au jus gravy mix. Pour over the steak and onions.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4 hours. Stir occasionally if possible.
  • About 30 minutes before serving, place 4 tablespoons of thinly sliced butter on top and let it melt into the steak.

Notes

To enhance flavors, marinate the steak pieces beforehand and customize with additional vegetables or spices.
