Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a bowl, mix sour cream and onion soup mix until well blended.
  • In a baking dish, drizzle olive oil and place the chicken breasts inside.
  • Season chicken with salt and pepper, then spread the sour cream mixture evenly over the chicken.
  • Top each piece of chicken with shredded cheddar cheese.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 35 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For flavor enhancement, try adding garlic powder to the sour cream mix. You can mix in other herbs like dill or chives for added flavor. Serve with a crisp salad to balance the dish.
