Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Boil sweet potatoes for about 20 minutes until fork-tender. Drain and mash.

Mixing

  • In a large mixing bowl, blend the mashed sweet potatoes with sugar, melted butter, evaporated milk, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until smooth.
  • Sift in the flour and baking powder, mixing until well incorporated. Ensure there are no lumps.

Baking

  • Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes until the top is set and slightly golden.
