  • 1 lb ground beef Brown and drain excess grease for healthier option.
  • 1 oz taco seasoning Mix with beef per package instructions.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (Mexican blend) Melts beautifully; alternatives include cheddar or pepper jack.
  • 1/4 cup salsa Adds moisture and flavor; adjust spice level to taste.

  • 1 cup diced onions For added freshness.
  • 1/2 cup sour cream A savory topping if desired.
  • 1 cup lettuce Shredded for garnish.
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes Fresh vegetable contrast.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cooking

  • In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess grease.
  • Sprinkle the taco seasoning over the cooked beef and stir well. Simmer for another 3-4 minutes.
  • Grease a muffin tin lightly with cooking spray and press each wonton wrapper into cup shapes.
  • Spoon the seasoned beef mixture evenly into each wonton cup, topping with shredded cheese and a drizzle of salsa.
  • Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes until the wrappers are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

Serving

  • Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving warm with your favorite toppings.
