  • 3 tablespoons honey Balances the fish's flavor. Use high-quality honey.
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce Part of the glaze.

Optional Finishing Ingredients

  • 1 whole lemon Cut into wedges for serving. Lime can also be used.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Melt butter in a small bowl, then whisk in honey, soy sauce, and smoked paprika to create the glaze.
  • Place salmon fillets on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Brush the honey glaze evenly over the salmon.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  • Remove from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
  • Serve with fresh lemon wedges.
